Carie Morelock is a happy wife, mother, and grandmother who uses the wonder of the woods in NWA to unschool her children and teach them the power and magic of life within all of God's creations!
She is also a passionate Social Scientist- focusing her research efforts and controlled experimental studies on applied science in both cognitive and neuropsychology; diving deep into the areas of motivation, learning, and self-regulation. She received her master's degree in Social Science from the University of Colorado at Denver and is the founder of Blue Illumination: Learn. Thrive. Illuminate. A program that takes a very different, scientific and holistic approach to educating individuals on the connection between the brain and behavior. This interactive program incorporates 8 empowering tools of science to help people "illuminate" in life.
Back in 2012 Carie authored a rudimentary “handbook”, The Car of Life, that was published showcasing one tool from her workshop. This book was written and aimed to appeal to ages as
young as 10 to help further facilitate understanding the 5 components of the self at a young age.
For the past 15 years Carie has helped empower individuals and families with the knowledge and tools to live a more resilient, mental/emotional, agile, and joyful life. Her latest research includes much regarding the neurodivergent learner, mental and neurological disorders, and the teenage/developing brain. Carie loves living in the south - so she can talk about God to anyone-, traveling, running, being in the water, and spending time with her hubby, kids, and grand baby!
