Kristin Brown is an Advancement Officer with the University of Utah Advancement office with 18 years of dedicated experience in the non-profit sector. Kristin brings a wealth of expertise and a proven track record of effecting positive change. A cornerstone of her professional journey lies in relationship building, where her excellent interpersonal and communication skills result in robust partner outreach and networking, fostering meaningful collaborations that drive success.                        

Kristin previously worked as part of the doTERRA International Philanthropy team, where she oversaw collective impact efforts in connection with the doTERRA Healing Hands Foundation and other charitable organizations to build charitable systems and engagement opportunities that impacted communities in Utah, the United States and throughout the world.                        

Kristin received her BS and Master of Public Health degree from Brigham Young University. She co-founded Grow.Learn.Give., an organization providing health education materials for developing countries, was an adjunct instructor at BYU, and served as the executive director of Koins for Kenya.                        
Kristin is a cancer survivor, having been diagnosed with Hairy Cell Leukemia in 2016.  Thanks to dedicated scientists and committed doctors, she has been cancer free since 2022. Kristin is happiest when serving and volunteers with numerous non-profits. Kristin and her husband live in Orem, UT and are the parents of two adult children and one beloved border collie. She enjoys quilting, feeding friends and family, and spending time on her ranch.
